What types of businesses does Portyr work with?

Portyr serves builders, remodelers, contractors, home service companies, showrooms, manufacturers, and suppliers. That includes businesses in cabinetry, countertops, flooring, lighting, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, and related home-industry categories. Our focus is established businesses that want their marketing to reflect the quality of their work and support their next stage of growth.

Can Portyr help if most of our business comes from referrals?

Yes. Portyr helps businesses communicate their reputation beyond their existing referral network. We look at how prospective customers discover your company, evaluate your work, and decide to contact you. The goal is to strengthen the marketing and customer experience around the reputation you have already earned.

Can you work with our existing marketing team or agency?

Yes. Growth Strategy & Advisory can support businesses with an internal marketing team or outside agency already handling execution. Portyr helps establish priorities, review performance, and connect the work to business goals. Responsibilities are defined so your team knows who owns strategy, production, campaign management, and follow-through.

What is the difference between Community, Advisory, and Partnership?

Community is for owners and teams who want practical marketing guidance, systems, and accountability. Growth Strategy & Advisory provides business-specific direction for companies with execution resources. Partnership combines strategic guidance with agreed execution. The right option depends on your goals, team, and how much hands-on support you need.

03 / How the work happens

Clear expectations.

Is Portyr a social media management company?

Portyr is a strategic growth partner. Content and social media can be part of the work, alongside messaging, customer research, performance analysis, and the path from inquiry to sale. We help determine what your marketing needs to accomplish before deciding what to publish. Social media production and publishing depend on your agreed scope.

Does Portyr run paid advertising campaigns?

Portyr provides advertising strategy, budget guidance, creative support, and performance review within the agreed scope. Your internal team or designated advertising partner handles campaign setup and day-to-day management. We establish those responsibilities before work begins.

How does Portyr measure marketing results?

Portyr connects measurement to your business goals and available data. Useful measures may include qualified inquiries, booked consultations or estimates, sales opportunities, conversion rates, acquisition costs, and revenue. Views and engagement help explain performance, but they do not tell the whole story. When tracking is incomplete, we identify the gaps and prioritize improvements.

How quickly should we expect results?

The timeline depends on your starting point, sales cycle, scope, and implementation. Clearer messaging and stronger inquiry follow-up can be put into practice relatively quickly. Building awareness, trust, and consistent demand takes sustained work. We agree on useful measures of progress; Portyr does not guarantee a fixed number of leads or a specific revenue result.

How do we get started with Portyr?

Start by telling us your growth goals, what you have already tried, and where you are getting stuck. We will help determine whether Community, Advisory, Partnership, or a standalone audit is the appropriate next step. You do not need to purchase an audit before discussing the other options.

What does your business need next?

Tell us where you want to grow and what’s getting in the way. We’ll help you identify the right next step.
